Six Places in Six Years

We've stayed (or are going to have stayed) in 6 different places in the 6 years we have gone to Hatfield McCoy
  • The first place was the campground, which is too hard to please everyone in the group.
  • The 2nd place was nice, the owner was great, and it had a phone, but it was small and the neighbor was a jerk.
  • The 3rd place had plenty of room and a great deck and the owners were great, but it was in that trailer park* and it didn't have a phone.
  • The 4th place had plenty of room and two bathrooms, and a phone, but the water smelled BAD, the owner was annoying, it was in the trailer park*, and they screwed us out of a dryer and stuck us in a different unit than I requested.
  • The 5th place was in town, the owner wasn't annoying, but it was cramped and there was a lot of traffic noise, a dryer was broken and there was no phone.
this place should meet all of our needs:
  1. in town
  2. non smelly water
  3. phone
  4. washer and dryer
  5. plenty of room
  6. two baths
  7. quiet
the only wildcard is the owner. time will tell.

* I have no problem staying in the trailer park, but we got spoiled staying in town last year I think. Not only does the water not smell bad, but it's convenient to have stores and other services close by in case you need items that you forgot, pop 8 tires, or lock your keys in your truck. Plus, getting gas before the ride is good, and so is being within walking distance of Hardee's.

Popping 8 tires might usually be considered an exaggeration, but in this case I am not sure it is. I still have a slow leak I can't find.
