Time to eat

At the suggestion of my lovely wife, let’s take a moment to talk about caloric intake. First off, for some reason our rented house has as much food in it as it has country crafts and 1970’s light fixtures… Pringles, Tostitos, Danish, chips, Diet Pepsi, Vault, eggs, bread, a pallet of hot dogs, hot dog rolls, bottled water, Cheese Nips, milk, Crystal Light, ice cream, Gatorade, coffee, Wheat Thins, spray cheese, pizza… you get the idea.

In addition to these prepackaged culinary delights, we have had Hardees on at least two, and for some at least three, non-consecutive occasions. To help support the local economy, we also ate at three local establishments. Last night, we passed on Billie Anne’s and the fifties themed dinner, and ate at Wally’s. I won’t detail what everyone ate but to give you a sense I will randomly describe one person’s meal... oh, let’s see… maybe Big A’s: Rib-eye special, salad, fried mushrooms, strawberry shortcake… and 5 Diet Pepsis.

It’s a good thing we burn so many calories out on the trail.

That's what I was thinking Krista!
Men are gross!
Although, Nurse @ night and I had a lovely meal of Prime rib, Smashed potatoes, ceasar salad and we shared a slice of cheese cake with berries on top, at Bugaboo Creek.
