The Rancher is Running!

Cleaned out the carb and put in some fresh gas, and it's as good as new. Idles a little weird, so I've got some adjusting to do, but I rode it around for a few minutes and it seems to run just fine. Although the Battery did not hold a charge since Tuesday. That's not a good sign. Those aren't cheap either. But it started on the first pull, so I may just let it go.

Next up - figure out what's going on with the rear brake cable, change the oil and we are good to go.

yeah, it's definitely important to have a backup.

That is one thing that shocks me about my ATV, it is a 2001 and still has the original battery. Maybe running a few times during the winter to plow with actually helps?

Never had a problem with my original battery until I left it out in the cold for a long time and then went an even longer time without trying to charge it.

Then I bought a new battery and I made a similar mistake and now I seem to be having problems again...
